When you look at the bigger picture, there are so many people investing to come and watch us in the stadium or on TV. The product needs to be attractive and this is one of the areas that probably brings the entertainment down a little bit. I haven't had much time to think about the exact solution but I think there are other people who are thinking about that... hopefully!
Pierluigi Collina has said he would be in favour of the use of VAR to determine whether corners have been correctly awarded at the World Cup next summer. The chair of Fifa's referees committee, speaking at a media briefing in Washington, made clear he supported the advance of technology. Collina said conversations were taking place over whether VAR could adjudicate on second yellow cards.
