Arkansas Abortion Ballot Initiative Approved - Organizers Need 90,000 Signatures
Arkansas Republican Attorney General Tim Griffin has approved a ballot initiative aimed at enshrining abortion rights in the state constitution after blocking two previous drafts of the proposal.
Organizers of the initiative will need to collect 90,704 valid signatures before July 5 in order to get the measure on the November ballot. [ more ]
