A Tesla Diner location could be coming to Palo Alto, as suggested in a recent post on X from Elon Musk. The world's richest person who is poised to become the world's first trillionaire posted on Oct. 31 that, The futuristic Tesla Diner is going well. Probably makes sense to open one near our Giga Texas HQ in Austin and engineering HQ in Palo Alto.

The spiral staircase leading up to the roof-deck at Los Angeles's Tesla Diner is beautiful, or at least it is expensive-looking. It has video screens overhead and glowy lights at the base of each step and its own special soundtrack, a down-tempo, bleepy-bloopy composition that whooshes in as a notable contrast to the main dining room's dad rock. Glass display cases set into the walls hold human-size robots. Otherwise, every surface is covered in slick plastic, pure white.

"I think we're going to start to see more restaurants that are sort of like time capsules, where there's this interesting reinterpretation - futuristic, but with this nostalgia to it."

Despite the initial huge lines of people and cars, the menu appears to have been greatly condensed, with significant items like the Epic Bacon removed.
