Police in Novato are looking for two people wanted in connection with a shooting late Monday night. One person was shot after 9 p.m. on 3rd Street near Grant Avenue in downtown, but was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. The area was roped off with yellow crime scene tape Monday night and early Tuesday morning. Officers could be seen scouring 3rd Street looking for clues.
The motive for the deadly shooting is unclear. Surveillance footage released by the NYPD hours later captures the still-at-large suspect pacing around in the lobby with his hood pulled up over his head before vanishing from view. He is described as about 50 years old with a dark complexion and medium build, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and blue sneakers.
