Record 123,000 patients admitted to hospital without a bed in 2023 as INMO warns of 'near-constant' overcrowding

University Hospital Limerick had the highest number of people on trolleys this year, followed by Cork University Hospital and University Hospital Galway.
The overall figure of patients on trolleys increased by 1,561 compared to last year and 4,512 compared to pre-Covid times. [ more ]
