Microsoft is responding to an ongoing issue within Microsoft 365. Spammers are abusing new tenants to send large amounts of unwanted emails before Microsoft can intervene.

Blocking all A2P messages means operators are unable to distinguish between spam and legitimate service texts, affecting vital communications like bank notifications and two-factor authentication.
