Les McCann, Pianist, Singer and Soul Jazz Pioneer, Dies at 88

Les McCann, a jazz pianist and vocalist, passed away at the age of 88 in Los Angeles.
McCann's most commercially successful performance was an impromptu collaboration at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1969, which became the album Swiss Movement. [ more ]
