American diners have very little chill right now. Not literally (New Yorkers are eating fro-yo when it's 10 degrees) -but psychologically. We've never encountered so many people lining up across the country to try the new "neighborhood spot." Pastry cases are being cleared, pop-ups are extending into "residencies," and the good people of Los Angeles are swarming the sidewalk to eat...British food (?). Come, gather round, we'll tell you what we've seen.

You're on your MacOS device, shopping for a holiday gift for your loved one. You find the perfect item and decide it has to be purchased. You go through the shopping cart process and decide to pay with PayPal. You click the pay button, and nothing happens. Nothing. You click the pay button again, and nothing happens. Again and again and again... with no results. What gives?

It can be hard enough hitting all the restaurants on your must-visit-in-London list, but getting to all the food-related events? Near impossible. The city's chefs, restaurateurs, cocktail pros and wine buffs are always cooking something up, whether it's a one-off collaborative menu or a long-running kitchen takeover, and you've usually gotta act fast to be in attendance. And it's not just restaurants, there are countless supper clubs in the capital, often run by chefs as a supplement to the day job, where you'll find some of the most exciting menus in the city - you might find them flying just under your radar.

The first thing you see on Zara's homepage is a random product or collection, dropped in without context. No categories, no overview, just one item staring at you. It feels like starting a book from the middle. The description text is so small it might as well not exist. Unless you zoom in, you can't read it, which makes it useless and definitely not accessible.

Bar Shoji has now fully opened in the former Trou Normand space, featuring Japanese-inspired cocktails and food, including sashimi and spicy tebasaki wings.

Two relatively new restaurants, Taquizas Valdez and Wurst Behavior, are teaming up on a fundraiser by selling unique collaborations at both restaurants.
