Philippe Petit Returns to the High Wire at Age 74

Philippe Petit, the high-wire artist famous for walking between the towers of the World Trade Center in 1974, will be setting up a wire and walking across the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York City next week.
Petit has a longstanding relationship with the cathedral and has previously walked across the nave. This time, he will be walking through a textile installation of colorful ribbons hanging from the ceiling in the nave. [ more ]
