New lawsuit targets program to diversify NYS STEM students
The Pacific Legal Foundation is backing a lawsuit challenging a New York state program that prioritizes historically underrepresented students in college science and technology programs.
The lawsuit claims that the program violates the Constitution's equal protection clause by automatically making Black, Hispanic, and Native American students eligible, regardless of family income. [ more ]
