1 dead, 1 injured in fatal Stoughton crash

One person was killed and another was hospitalized after a crash in Stoughton that occurred during a police pursuit Saturday. At about 10:40 a.m., Brockton police attempted to stop a pickup truck driven by Jason Ortiz, 26, of Brockton, according to the Norfolk District Attorney's Office. Ortiz led police in pursuit into Stoughton, where his vehicle hit a sedan.
