The new owner of the building that houses Lucy's is more than tripling the rent to $25,000 a month, making it unaffordable for the current owner. Lucy's owner, Ludwika 'Lucy' Mickevicius, is facing eviction next month and hopes that someone will take over the bar to prevent its closure. [ more ]
