All You Need to Know About NYCHA's Section 8 Waitlist Opening June 3
NYCHA is reopening the Section 8 housing choice voucher waitlist to the public for the first time since December 2009, placing 200,000 new applicants from low-income households.
The online application process will be open from June 3 to June 9, with a lottery selection process giving every applicant an equal chance. Duplicate applications are discouraged. [ more ]
