In 1914, the White Sox and New York Giants played an exhibition game in Cairo, Egypt, as part of a world tour. The game ended in a 3-3 tie after 10 innings.
In 2002, the White Sox signed center fielder Kenny Lofton to a one-year contract. Lofton had an impressive career but played for multiple teams in his final years. [ more ]
