A runaway horse named "Sundance" was spotted galloping along several highways in southeast Queens on Dec. 7 after breaking free from Curly's Cowboy Center in South Jamaica at around 6:30 p.m., according to authorities. Officers from the Port Authority Police Department received a report of the horse racing on the JFK Expressway.
A woman was found dead inside a car sitting in a long-term parking lot of John F. Kennedy International Airport on Thursday afternoon, according to photos and authorities. Port Authority police received a report of an unresponsive woman in her vehicle at long-term parking lot 9 of JFK airport near Aqueduct Road and Lefferts Boulevard in Jamaica at around 2:10 p.m., according to the PAPD.
At Terminal 4 (Delta, Emirates, Virgin Atlantic, Singapore and more), curbside pickups are only allowed in the mornings. From noon to 2 a.m., travelers must board a free shuttle bus to Lot 66, where rideshares line up in numbered stalls. The system's been in place since May and though shuttles run every couple of minutes, the process adds time and an extra round of logistics to any arrival.
