Inside, the open kitchen sets the stage: a pastaio (pasta maker) pulls fresh noodles, seemingly moving to the groove of the DJ playing lo-fi records in the dining room. The wine list only packs biodynamic and organic Italian producers and grower Champagne, keeping the selection regional and intentional.
After 20 plus wonderful years, we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of DiParma Italian Table. This place has meant so much to our family and to our community, and we are incredibly grateful for the friendships, memories, and support we've shared over the years.
Bar Ferdinando is Sal Lamboglia's fourth business, including his neighboring dining places Cafe Spaghetti, Swoony's, and Sal Tang's. In fact, Ferdinando's Focacceria owner Francesco "Frank" Buffa picked Lamboglia to take over the address after Buffa decided to shutter the restaurant in February 2025.
Opened by husband-and-wife team Simone and Lidia Crepaldi on the old Chick 'n' Sours site in Dalston, HOAX is doing a creative take on classic Italian flavours. The menu includes dishes like citrus marinated sea bass with tomatoes and valerian gel, beef tartare with robiola, mustard and hazelnut, cacio e pepe, pasta pomodoro, braised beef cheek with potato purée and sweet peppers, roast chicken with brioche bread and black truffle sauce, and house tiramisu.
Scheduled to open Tuesday, December 9, Bar Tutto is the newest spot from chef Joe Flamm of Day Off Group, the team behind nearby restaurants Rose Mary, BLVD Steakhouse, and Il Carciofo. Located in Fulton Market on the ground floor of a new high-rise apartment building, the restaurant's ethos is reflected in its name; "Tutto" means "all" in Italian and speaks to the restaurant's all-day approach, inclusive attitude, and the country that inspired it.
