We're almost to summer, music nerds!Whether you're into rock, jazz, or pop, there's a little something for everyone this week, thanks to an increasing amount of genre-fluidity running rampant these days.Here are two shows and one new release to dig into this month and beyond... right Hear in Portland!

Pack It Up
Just days after unveiling a demo of a ChatGPT clone called Alpaca, Stanford researchers have taken their AI offline, citing concerns over costs, and more importantly, safety, The Register reports."The original goal of releasing a demo was to disseminate our research in an accessible way," a spokesperson for Stanford's Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence institute told The Register in a statement.

In the design world, it's easy to find yourself stretched thin across a range of different directions, pinching an approach from here and a colour from there, oftentimes struggling to fuse them into a cohesive final product.Canadian graphic designer Dominique Paris has no such problem.Based in Istanbul and Prague, the eclectic designer roots her work in collage and says she puts the "interfusion of different types of elements, which are old and new, fiction and nonfiction, life and death, surreal and bizarre" at the heart of her creative practice.
