This happened while he's president. Joe Biden didn't trade stocks while he was in office. Barack Obama didn't trade stocks while he was in office. But Trump is apparently trading stocks while he is in office. And since we got his financial disclosure about those stock trades late last week, detailing this bizarre and incredibly energetic stock trading that the president has been doing while he has been president.
Australia became the world's first country to ban social media for children under 16 in December 2025. The ban blocks children from using Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Threads, TikTok, X, YouTube, Reddit, Twitch, and Kick. It notably doesn't include WhatsApp or YouTube Kids. The Australian government has said these social media companies must take steps to keep children off their services.
India's government has denied that it is working on rules that would require smartphone manufacturers to provide access to their source code. A Sunday report by Reuters claimed that India has circulated a package of 83 security standards, among them requirements to share smartphone source code and another requiring developers to give India's government advance of major software updates. The report claims that Apple and Samsung have opposed the plan.
