Fluid Framework 2.0 Beta: SharedTree Distributed Data Structure and SharePoint Embedded
Microsoft has announced the beta release of Fluid Framework 2.0, introducing the SharedTree Distributed Data Structure (DDS) and support for SharePoint Embedded.
Fluid Framework is a free and open-source library for building real-time collaborative web applications, eliminating the need for custom server code or complex merge semantics.
SharedTree DDS offers an intuitive programming interface for working with various data types, while SharePoint Embedded allows developers to retain collaborative data within a Microsoft 365 tenant. [ more ]
