AI-powered cat door stops your feline companion from bringing home dead gifts
A smart pet door called Flappie is being showcased at CES 2024 that uses AI to prevent cats from entering the house if they have prey in their mouths.
The door has sensors and a camera that uses AI to identify whether the cat is carrying prey before allowing it to enter.
The goal is to train the cat to drop off the prey before entering the house, with designers claiming a 90% accuracy rate. [ more ]
