Strahinja Pavlovic had to have stitches in his head after a collision with Pietro Comuzzo during Sunday's draw against Fiorentina. It was one of those games where Comuzzo seemed determined to do damage with his head. He scored the opening goal for Fiorentina midway through the second half, nodding in a corner, and then at the other end an aerial duel with Pavlovic ended with them both in a heap on the floor.

The threats were received following the club's 3-1 loss at Sassuolo on Saturday, which left winless Fiorentina bottom of Serie A after 14 matches. The club condemned the threats in a statement and said it "expresses its full solidarity and support for the players and their families".

Milan's Primavera side came away with one point from their clash against the league leaders Fiorentina this afternoon, though it perhaps could have been more. After the defeat to Juventus last time out, Giovanni Renna's boys returned to action after the break earlier today, taking on the league leaders Fiorentina. Given the Rossoneri's form, the 1-1 result was probably the best they could have hoped for.

Few people will be left smiling after the international break at AC Milan, but Christopher Nkunku is, and he hopes to share it. This break has been one of the worst for Milan in recent memory. Rather than being able to carry a win into the break, they carried frustrations, and these frustrations grew with several injuries over the break. However, Nkunku has tried to ease worries and performed well when given a chance, something which is becoming a theme.

There is no reason to be concerned about Leao's condition, at least not from a new perspective. When he left for international duty, the Portuguese was not 100% and his time away has only proved that further. With him not playing in their second game of the break, he was given permission to return to Milano early, something which could please Massimiliano Allegri.

Victor Lindelöf is in talks with Fiorentina over a free agent move to link-up with former Manchester United teammate David de Gea at the Serie A club, sources have told ESPN. The Sweden defender, who joined United in a £31 million ($41.8m) move from Benfica in 2017, has been without a club since leaving Old Trafford at the end of last season following the expiry of his contract.

Nottingham Forest's winless pre-season campaign continued after they drew 0-0 with Fiorentina at the City Ground, making it six matches without a win.
