It's been an eventful, exciting and special year, at the end of which we have well over 430,000 members, which says a lot about how much is being done right in this club, both on and off the pitch. On behalf of the club, I would like to thank all members and fans for their support and loyalty,
Dr Werner Zedelius has been a proud member of our supervisory board for ten years. During this time, the club enjoyed historic success. We would like to thank him for his expertise and experience. He has been an extremely valuable advisor to us. In Michael Diekmann, we are gaining a new, first-class source of inspiration for our committee. With his character and financial expertise, he will help us to further develop the club.
Ottmar Hitzfeld was a defining character in the recent history of FC Bayern Munich. His induction into the German Football Hall of Fame recognises his extraordinary coaching career. Hitzfeld led FC Bayern to numerous titles, including five Bundesliga championships, three DFB Cup victories and, above all, the Champions League triumph in 2001. His calm, level-headed manner and strategic vision made him one of the most successful and popular coaches to have worked at Säbener Straße.
