New York's 'first mom governor' Hochul pitches paid medical leave during pregnancy in 2024 agenda: 'Crisis'
New York Governor Kathy Hochul wants to make it law to provide up to 40 hours of paid medical leave during pregnancy.
Hochul also plans to eliminate cost-sharing for maternal medical expenses, streamline access to doulas, and reduce unnecessary C-sections. [ more ]
