In news that is disappointing though not surprising, especially given the Yankees ' injury "luck" early this season, the club announced today that Aaron Judge is head to the 10-day injured list.He had worked out with the team today prior to the start of their game against the Guardians, but they're playing it safe with their superstar.

Oswald Peraza entered spring training as the favorite to win the Yankees ' shortstop job.Frankly, had he hit a bit better (think an .800OPS or around that mark), he could have still gotten it.But Anthony Volpe had other plans.While Peraza posted a .616OPS, Volpe slashed .309/.415/.618with three homers, five steals and a 1.033 OPS.
