DPC's Dixon discusses GDPR enforcement holes
Outgoing Ireland Data Protection Commissioner, Helen Dixon, believes that harmonized enforcement of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) could have been smoother.
Dixon criticizes the political and economic compromise made during the establishment of the GDPR's one-stop-shop mechanism, stating that a more seamless system would have resulted in handling more cases and progressing faster. [ more ]
