A JetBlue flight hit a coyote during takeoff, returned for inspection, and continued to JFK after confirming no issues.
During live coverage of the feline's capture, the ABC7 News reporter Frances Wang was on camera when an unexpected urban resident passed behind her. A coyote calmly walked through the shot, unnoticed as she continued reporting. Video of the moment quickly gained attention for the visual irony of one wild predator being removed as another freely roamed the city streets.
At least four people called 911 about 4:45 p.m. Thursday and reported that a dog was being dragged behind a van headed west on Sonoma Avenue, away from Farmers Lane, Santa Rosa police Sgt. Patricia Seffens said Tuesday. The animal, which had been attached by a rope to the interior back of the van, detached from the van near Midway Drive and some callers stopped there to wait for police.
The campaign involves two components: A self-propagating malware referred to as SORVEPOTEL that's spread via the desktop web version of WhatsApp and is used to deliver a ZIP archive containing the Maverick payload. The malware is designed to monitor active browser window tabs for URLs that match a hard-coded list of financial institutions in Latin America. Should the URLs match, it establishes contact with a remote server to fetch follow-on commands to gather system information and serve phishing pages to steal credentials.
