Vatican Eases Rules on Preserving Cremation Ashes
The Vatican has softened its rules on the preservation of ashes, allowing Catholic families to keep a minimal part of the ashes in a place of significance to the deceased.
The new instructions also allow the mixing of ashes in a common urn, as long as the identity of each deceased person is marked to preserve their memory. [ more ]
