6 teenagers go on trial for their alleged role in the 2020 beheading of a French teacher
Six teenagers are going on trial in Paris for their alleged roles in the beheading of a teacher who showed caricatures of the prophet of Islam to his class.
The teacher, Samuel Paty, was killed by an 18-year-old who had become radicalized after showing the caricatures.
Among those going on trial is a teenage girl accused of making false allegations about the teacher. [ more ]
