Troubled Brooklyn Mirage Files to Demolish Unsafe Structures
Avant Gardner filed a demolition permit to remove parts or all of the Brooklyn Mirage after construction and safety issues prevented reopening this year.
For their part, neither the venue nor its CEO Josh Wyatt, who told Brooklyn Magazine the venue would "100%" be ready to open on May 1, posted anything since their initial statement on May 2.
Brooklyn Mirage's opening day performance had to be canceled due to permit issues after failing a safety inspection, raising concerns about the venue's readiness for shows.
