Police are investigating after a woman was found dead inside her Bronx apartment on Saturday morning. According to authorities, cops from the 46th precinct were called to an apartment located at 38 Featherbed Lane at around 9:39 a.m. on Jan. 17 after family members of a 50-year-old woman asked for a wellness check. Upon arrival, cops discovered Susan Longton face up in her bedroom.
Bronx detectives are investigating the death of a four-year-old girl on Friday morning. Officers from the 49th Precinct responded to a location near Barnes and Adee Avenues in Williamsbridge at about 9:17 a.m. on Dec. 26 after receiving a 911 call for a female in need of assistance. Cops say both Martinez and Lopez Castillo allegedly attempted to rob 26-year-old Ronell Marte just before 3 a.m. inside Starlight Park on Sept. 3. The pair allegedly approached Marte, a special needs adult, and held him up at gunpoint, demanding his cellphone. A 46-year-old BMW driver died early Sunday after he slammed into a support pillar underneath elevated subway tracks in the Bronx, police said. The driver was zipping south on Jerome Ave. in Fordham Heights when he sideswiped an I-beam supporting the overhead No. 4 train tracks near E. 181st St. just before 4:30 a.m., cops said. He then veered away, over-corrected and crashed his 2022 BMW 330i into another I-beam head-on, cops said.

Transit police are investigating a stabbing on board a Bronx subway train Tuesday night that left a man seriously injured. According to police sources, the incident took place at around 10:42 p.m. on Sept. 30 on a northbound 4 train at the 149 Street-Grand Concourse station. While authorities did not give a motive for the attack, they say a male suspect attacked the victim, a 26-year-old man, as the train pulled into the station.
Kenneth Siriboe, 21, allegedly approached the woman around 5 a.m. Sunday inside the residential building on East Gun Hill Road near Putnam Place in Norwood, where he allegedly covered her mouth with one hand and squeezed her throat with the other, according to a criminal complaint. He then threw the woman to the ground and repeatedly punched her, causing bruising, swelling and cuts, the court doc said.
