Daily Telescope: Webb telescope reveals breathtaking structure of galaxies
The James Webb Space Telescope observed 19 face-on spiral galaxies to gain new insights into these galaxies and their similarities to the Milky Way.
The images from Webb reveal large, spherical holes in the gas and dust of the galaxies, which may have been created by exploding stars. [ more ]
