Parts of Kew Gardens and the British Museum archives are moving to... Reading
London's museums are considering relocating parts of their collections to Reading University's Thames Valley Science Park due to ageing buildings and limited storage space.
The British Museum has already moved 1.5 million objects to the science park's archeological research collection.
The Natural History Museum is planning to move 28 million specimens to a new facility, but is facing opposition from former staff members. [ more ]
