A new leak today, purportedly originating inside HyperOS 3 code, seems to reveal what we can expect from the next members of Poco's X-series in terms of battery capacity and charging spec. The Poco X8 Pro will allegedly have a 6,500 mAh battery, while the Poco X8 Pro Max will have an 8,500 mAh battery. Both will support 100W wired charging.
But the company won't be stopping there in terms of battery capacity. According to a new rumor, next year Xiaomi will release a phone with a 10,000 mAh battery that will support 100W wired charging and very fast wireless charging too. And despite the massive battery, this phone will be less than 8.5mm thick, which is a great achievement in and of itself.
The Redmi Turbo 4 was launched in very early January, but its successor allegedly won't wait for the one-year anniversary, instead arriving earlier, possibly as early as next month. The Redmi Turbo 5 is said to come with a metal frame, a simple camera island design, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and a larger battery than the Turbo 4's 6,550 mAh cell.
