Foster + Partners completed the largest renovation in the building's 50-year history, rejuvenating a prominent landmark tower. The project modernizes office facilities and upgrades public realm elements while revitalizing the historic Transamerica Redwood Park at the tower's base. SHVO, a luxury real estate development and investment firm, appointed the practice. The design team included a large international roster of architects and consultants. Cost consultancy was provided by NOVA Partners and fire consultancy by The Fire Consultants. The program focuses on reinvigorating office use and renewing civic open space to enhance urban prominence and long-term viability.
