Forty-three people were killed across Gaza since dawn while the death toll from a man-made famine rose to 441. Israel intensified strikes on Gaza City, using unprecedented force to push residents toward the overcrowded south via the al-Rashid coastal road, now the only permitted route. Entire blocks are being destroyed and families remain trapped under debris, notably in Tal al-Hawa. Many Palestinians cannot afford transport to southern safe zones such as al-Mawasi, so hundreds are travelling on foot. An estimated 480,000 Palestinians have fled Gaza City since late August, increasing displacement pressures.
