Farhan and Saim Ayub added 54 in five overs and Farhan and Azam built an 81-run third-wicket partnership. Farhan reached 1,000 T20 international runs in his 41st match. Pakistan's spinners restricted the United States, with Usman Tariq taking 3-27 and Shadab Khan 2-26 as the USA finished 158-8. Shubham Ranjane made 51 off 30 balls and Shayan Jahangir scored 49, but a collapse from 123-3 ended the chase. Shaheen Shah Afridi took Ranjane's wicket on his 100th T20 international.
