Chinese and North Korean foreign ministers met in Beijing and agreed to deepen bilateral ties and strengthen coordination in international and regional affairs. Both sides pledged to oppose all forms of hegemonism, resist unilateralism and power politics, and promote a fairer, more just world order. The meeting followed a high-profile military parade attended by North Korea and Russia in Beijing. Both China and North Korea view the United States as an adversary amid trade tensions and disputes over North Korea's nuclear program.
