"For the last two years, I have followed Hamas content creator Saleh Al-Jafrawi ('Mr FAFO') with a mix of horror and admiration. I was engrossed. Mr FAFO had phenomenal energy, charisma, and creativity. Always popping up in a different costume, once a patient then a radiologist, a jihadist then a foreign correspondent, a ham actor but always with panache and chutzpah, constantly finding inventive ways to grab new audiences and tell his story,"
"We could have been mates, in another life, in which he did not dedicate his talents for evil, using his voice to fight for the genocidal terrorist army that perpetrated the October 7 Massacre."
Saleh al-Jafarawi, a 27-year-old Palestinian influencer known as 'Mr. FAFO', was killed in clashes between Hamas and other Palestinian factions. He documented the Gaza war and publicly celebrated the Oct. 7, 2023 massacre in Israel, then posted a video sobbing after Israeli strikes began. Video on his X account showed him dead wearing a press vest. Many Israelis cheered his death, seeing him as a Hamas propagandist, while many pro-Palestinian activists mourned, including Rama Duwaji who shared an Instagram story with four broken-heart emojis. He had over 250,000 followers and drew both revulsion and recognition for his influence and creativity.
