Israel again delayed reopening the Rafah crossing with Egypt for movement of people, with Foreign Minister Gideon Saar saying it could open on Sunday. COGAT said coordination with Egypt was under way to set a reopening date after necessary preparations, but stated Rafah would remain closed to aid because the truce did not include its reopening. All humanitarian supplies will pass through Karem Abu Salem/Kerem Shalom after Israeli security inspections. The crossing had been due to open under the ceasefire. Israeli forces seized and razed Rafah facilities last May and control much of Gaza, including Rafah. Israeli strikes killed at least three Palestinians in southern Gaza; the UN reported little progress in aid deliveries.
