More than 1,300 attendees gathered at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa to celebrate the Harvest Fair's 50th anniversary, many dressed in cocktail attire and sampling award-winning wines and regional food. The professional wine competition announced its top sweepstakes winners, with Bucher Wines taking the top red sweepstakes, Breathless Sparkling Wine (Sharon Cohn) winning specialty wine, and Raymond Burr Vineyards representatives Lori Florence and Taylor McKeever celebrating the white wine sweepstakes. Judges, sommeliers and producers mingled as guests toasted the opening and poured samples from local vineyards and producers throughout the gala.
