This Luxury Hotel Brand Just Unveiled Its New Wine-and It's All You'll Want to Drink on Your Next Vacation

"Little did I know, a few hours later I'd be sipping a glass of cabernet sauvignon harvested from those very vines by Jesse Katz, the award-winning winemaker behind Healdsburg's Aperture Cellars and the designer of Montage Healdsburg's vineyards. As early as 2019, two years before the resort opened its doors, Katz was already getting to know the land and creating what would become the property's focal point."

Montage Healdsburg features on-property vineyards designed and farmed by winemaker Jesse Katz, who began working the land as early as 2019. Montage International introduced a private Montage Estate wine collection in December with three varietals grown at the Healdsburg site in partnership with Aperture Cellars. The debut release is a 2023 cabernet sauvignon available exclusively by the glass or bottle at Montage and Pendry lobby bars and signature restaurants, with mini-bottles in room honor bars. A rosé and a sauvignon blanc are planned for release in spring. Katz describes the wines as expressive, elegant, and rooted in Sonoma.
