007 First Light has been delayed from 27 March to 27 May 2026. The game is fully playable from beginning to end, but extra time is being used to further polish it. IO Interactive is developing the title in association with Delphi Interactive. The game stars Patrick Gibson as a 26-year-old James Bond in a reimagined origin story in which he is recruited into MI6 and earns his 00 title in a standalone narrative. Lenny Kravitz performs the main villain. Gameplay shows similarities to the Hitman franchise, includes Bond gadgets and cinematic set pieces, and has prompted fan concerns about frame rates and motion blur.
