Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 May Get Campaign Early Access - Report

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled to release on October 23 for Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. A reported Xbox “Campaign Early Access” pass suggests players could begin the campaign during an early-access period, though the official Xbox store page instead lists preorder digital versions as granting early access to the open beta. Infinity Ward is targeting a return to ordinary-soldier perspectives and is making quality-of-life improvements, including movement and gunplay changes. Omnimovement from Black Ops 7 is not included. The Prestige system is also being revamped. The cast includes Luke Tennie and Young Mazino, with Barry Sloane returning as Price. The game will not launch day one on Game Pass.

It wouldn’t be the first time campaign early access has been available for a Call of Duty game, however—Modern Warfare 2 had a similar program back in 2022, for instance."
