Scribe raised $75 million in a Series C at a $1.3 billion valuation led by StepStone, with participation from Amplify Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Tiger Global, Morado Ventures, and New York Life Ventures. CEO Jennifer Smith and CTO Aaron Podolny cofounded the company. Scribe Capture records expert employees performing workflows via a browser extension or desktop app and generates shareable documentation with screenshots and written instructions to standardize processes and institutional know-how. Scribe Optimize analyzes internal workflows, highlights improvement opportunities, recommends AI adoption, and leverages a database of 10 million workflows across 40,000 applications to suggest automation. The company has 120 employees, over 75,000 customers including New York Life, T-Mobile, and LinkedIn, and 44% of the Fortune 500 as paying customers. The raise aims to accelerate Optimize’s rollout and fund follow-on products after conserving prior capital.
