Customers who buy tickets directly via a train operator's website or app can often access one-click compensation claims through the delay repay scheme, but approximately one in four passengers who use independent ticket retailers face more complicated, manual procedures to obtain payouts. Trainline produced the data, launched a petition calling on the Government to enable one-click claims for all online ticket buyers, and has called for rail reform that focuses on passenger priorities.
