Rep. James Comer cited the murder of Charlie Kirk and other politically motivated violence as justification for congressional oversight of platforms used to advance political violence. The committee demanded that the CEOs explain actions to prevent platform exploitation for nefarious purposes. Discord said it looked forward to testifying in October.
