Trump wrote that he inherited a war that should never have happened and called it a loser for everyone, especially the millions who died. He accused Ukrainian leaders of expressing zero gratitude for U.S. efforts and criticized Europe for buying Russian oil. Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in Geneva to discuss a reported 28-point peace plan that critics denounced as overly favorable to Russia.
