President Trump told reporters in the Oval Office that ABC News should have its broadcast license revoked after an ABC reporter asked why the administration would not release the Jeffrey Epstein files. He called the network "fake news," said its coverage was "97% negative to Trump," and urged Federal Communications Commission Chair Brendan Carr to "look at" revoking the license. The exchange followed questions about the Trump family's business dealings in Saudi Arabia and the murder of Jamal Khashoggi directed to the Saudi crown prince. The press conference occurred shortly before a House vote to order the files released, and the president reversed his position on that vote.
