President Trump spent Sunday night posting extensively on TruthSocial, including lengthy critiques of the Supreme Court's recent 6-3 decision to strike down his foreign tariffs. Trump claimed he possesses absolute authority to impose tariffs and stated he has already continued doing so despite the ruling. He praised Justices Alito, Thomas, and Kavanaugh for their dissent, calling their position wise and courageous. Trump criticized the liberal justices and the Republican justices who sided with them, arguing that Democratic justices consistently vote as a bloc while Republican justices disrespect the presidents who appointed them by issuing what he characterized as wrongful rulings designed to appear independent.
