Officers smashed the vehicle window, cut the driver out, and forced her to the ground. Rep. Michael McFaul called the officers' actions a little overzealous while noting that federal agents receive conflict-resolution training. McFaul questioned risks from murderers and drug traffickers and raised concerns about protecting average Americans. McFaul agreed that stops require reasonable suspicion, rejected claims of absolute ICE immunity, and noted that unlawful use of force can carry consequences.
